Day 42: Lexi

Today's drawing is my version of my friend Bryony James' character from her third year film. It was going to be a birthday card for her but I changed my mind last minute. Enjoy!

Day 41: Man in the Moon

I tried a different method for colouring today. I'm not so sure it worked, it was pretty restrictive.

Day 40: a old school chat

I don't often do photo-based pictures (I sort of think its cheating) but today is an exception. I quite like old cars. I can't be doing with the shiny, noisy cars we have nowadays but I like to think I understand how the older cars at least function (though I still couldn't drive one). I took this photo in Bristol when some people were having what appeared to be a hugely important and private wedding. These two blokes were chatting about the car the whole time. To the left you can also see a silly tourist lady, don't catch me taking photos of-- oh wait. Haha, well its not the same if you throw Photoshop at it afterwards right? Tata

Day 39: creature of the night

Well I say creature I'm not actually sure what on Earth or elsewhere this is! Its some kind of abstract thingy... Nope, can't think of any schpiel for it... Oh wait.
        "Deep within the galaxy lies a seemingly unhabited land but the truth is far worse. These creatures attract visitors with their lights only to absorb them and their knowledge."

Day 38: Ninja Time

Allo, todays my birthday so I'm not gonna say much. Its a ninja, and a dragon... And a bit of a magician. Toodles!

Day 37: When My Naughty Little Sister Met A Chav..

As a child my favourite book was the My Naughty Little Sister Storybook which was illustrated by Shirley Hughes. My brothers used to say I was the girl in the book, especially when she played up. This drawing a sort of homage / fan art to the books and more so to Shirley Hughes. I always liked the grumpy little girl with ribbons in her hair.
Looks like she's met a very naughty young boy. I'm pretty sure he's only offering her sweets because some adult made him. Either that or they are filled with aniseed!

Day 36: Flutterbye's

Silly dragon, why don't you fly after the butterfly? I felt like going a bit cute today and also I really wanted to use the old felt pens. :) Hope you had a great day 36!
